ARABIAN GULF - Operations Specialist Seaman Cortney Jackson, right, shows Midshipman 3rd Class Ryan Ewanchew how to plot a course on a chart aboard the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52). Midshipmen are undergoing summer training aboard Pearl Harbor to familiarize themselves with life at sea aboard a U.S. Navy ship. Pearl Harbor is part of Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
