Michael Harris, executive officer of the amphibious dock landing ship USS Pearl Harbor (LSD 52), operates the nozzle of a fire hose during damage control training on the ship's flight deck. Pearl Harbor and embarked Marines assigned to the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit are deployed as part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group, supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
