Germantown participates in Dawn Blitz 2010 
USS Germantown (LSD 42) is underway off the coast of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif.   
 
CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - The amphibious dock landing ship USS Germantown (LSD 42) is underway off the coast of Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif. Germantown was one of several naval vessels involved in Dawn Blitz 10, a series of amphibious operations involving Sailors and Marines to reinvigorate the core competency of amphibious operations and enhance interaction between the Navy and the Marine Corps.
