USS DUBUQUE Fueling At Sea 
 
INDIAN OCEAN (November 17, 2010) – USS Dubuque (LPD 8) deck department personnel watch as the fuel probe from the Fleet Oiler USNS Pecos (T-AO-197) connects to the receiving bell on USS Dubuque (LPD 8) Nov. 17 during a fueling at sea. Replenishments at sea are an integral part of the U.S. Navy’s ability to maintain a constant presence at sea. Dubuque recently concluded humanitarian operations, theater security exercises and anti-piracy patrols in the 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
