Command Master Chief (July 2012 - October 2012)
Master Chief Peebles, a native of Philadelphia Mississippi, graduated from Philadelphia Senior High School in 1988. Received Associates of Art degree in Marine Engineering from Coastline Community College in 2008. A graduate of the Senior Enlisted Propulsion Engineering Course in 2006, and completed the Diesel Engine Inspector (DEI) Certification Course 2012.

Master Chief Peebles entered the Navy June, 1988 and attending Recruit Training Center (RTC) in San Diego, CA.

His sea duty assignments include, as the Maintenance Man on the USS VREELAND (FF 1068), ACNR Technician on the USS YOSEMITE (AD 19), “A” Gang LCPO on the USS MCFAUL (DDG 74), Main Propulsion LCPO USS RUSHMORE (LSD 47), Reactor Auxiliary LCPO on the USS NIMITZ (CVN 68).

His shore duty assignments include “A” School Company Commander on Naval Technical Training Center Meridian, Mississippi, as the Recruiter in Charge on Navy Recruiting District Jacksonville, and as Diesel Training Team LCPO on Afloat Training Group (ATG) San Diego.

Master Chief Peebles’s awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (7) and various campaign, service, and unit awards.
