150121-N-RC734-040RED SEA (Jan. 21, 2015) - Sailors assigned to amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22) use a pallet jack to move supplies during a replenishment-at-sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Patuxent (T-AO 201). San Diego is part of Makin Island amphibious ready group and, with the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime and theater security operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
