San Diego, CA (June 12, 2010) - The amphibious transport dock ship San Diego (LPD 22) is the sixth ship of the continuing San Antonio (LPD 17 class. The christening ceremony was held on Saturday, June 12, 2010, at the Pascagoula, Miss., shipyard. The ship honors one of the United States' finest cities, San Diego, CA
