150107-N-QC631-050 GULF OF ADEN (Jan. 7, 2015) - Sailors and Marines participate in pipe patching training during a damage control drill on the forecastle of amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22). San Diego is part of the Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime and theater security operations in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
