SAN DIEGO (May 14, 2013) - Family members of Commanding Officer, Capt. Putnam Browne, wave to welcome the amphibious transport dock ship USS Green Bay (LPD 20), as she returns to Naval Base San Diego as part of the Peleliu Amphibious Ready Group (PELARG), May 14. The PELARG is returning from a western Pacific deployment where they performed maritime security operations, theater cooperation efforts and operational support in the U.S. 5th and 7th Fleet areas or responsibility.
