SAN DIEGO - After completing 24 hours at sea aboard USS GREEN BAY (LPD 20), fifty U. S. Naval Academy midshipmen await their ride to shore, which will be inside an amphibious assault vehicle, with the 3rd Amphibious Assault Battalion.  The midshipmen were aboard GREEN BAY to experience an introduction to the Surface Navy.
