SAN DIEGO (January 13, 2011) –  Mass Communication Specialist 1st Class Andrew Wiskow, assigned to USS Makin Island (LHD 8), undergoes respirator mask testing in the ship’s hangar bay. Makin Island is currently completing a maintenance availability period in preparation for pre-deployment operations.
