120227-N-CG241-186 SASEBO, Japan (Feb 27 2012) - A landing craft air cushioned vehicle, assigned to Assault Craft Unit Five Detachment Western Pacific (ACU-5), enters the well-deck of the forward-deployed amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2).
