USS Peleliu Conducts Deck Landing Qualifications 
 
PACIFIC OCEAN (April 28, 2014) - Aviation Boatswain's Mate (Handling) 2nd Class Nicholas Mccurry,  a landing signal enlisted (LSE), lands an Army CH-47 Chinook from the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (SOAR), Alpha Company Four, aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Peleliu (LHA 5) during deck landing qualifications. Peleliu is conducting sea trials in preparation for an upcoming deployment.
