CAPT Jordy Harrison

A native of Columbia, Maryland, Captain Jordy Harrison was commissioned in 1992 upon graduation from the United States Naval Academy.

His assignments at sea include: Anti-Submarine Warfare and Auxiliaries Officer aboard USS JOHN RODGERS (DD 983), Operations Officer aboard USS ROSS (DDG 71) and USS PRINCETON (CG 59), Executive Officer aboard USS PAUL HAMILTON (DDG 60) and USS HALSEY (DDG 97), and Commanding Officer aboard USS HALSEY (DDG 97). During these operational tours, he completed six deployments to the Southern Atlantic, Mediterranean Sea, Western Pacific, Indian Ocean, Gulf of Oman and Arabian Gulf.

His shore assignments include: Flag Aide to the Commander Naval Surface Forces, Executive Assistant to the Director of Operations and Deputy Commander United States Northern Command, and Military Assistant to the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Military Committee.

Captain Harrison’s personal decorations include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, the Navy Commendation Medal, the Joint Service Achievement Medal, the Navy Achievement Medal and various service campaign and unit decorations.

Captain Harrison holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Science Degree in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, CA.
