Command Senior Chief

CMDCM Johnson is a native of Santa Rosa, Ca. He enlisted in the Navy, August 1995 and attended Boot Camp at Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL. Upon completion, he attended ET “A” School Great Lakes, IL and Satellite Communications “C” School in Fort Gordon, Ga.

His sea tours include USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV 67), USS SAMUEL B. ROBERTS (FFG 58), USS THACH (FFG 43), and USS STERETT (DDG 104). He also completed a sea special tour with Joint Communication Support Element (JCSE) responsible under two Joint Special Operations Task Forces.

His shore tours include Shore Intermediate Maintenance Activity (SIMA), Afloat Training Group (ATG) Mayport, and Naval Computer Telecommunications Station (NCTS) Bahrain.

He is a graduated of the Senior Enlisted Academy (Khaki, 191) and the Command Master Chief/Chief of the Boat Course (Class 161). He has also earned the Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist and Enlisted Aviation Warfare Specialist devices, as well as the Master Training Specialist and Afloat Training Specialist designations.

CMDCM Johnson’s personal awards include: Joint Commendation Service Medal (2 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (5 awards), and various unit commendations.
