Command Master Chief - LCS Crew 101

Master Chief Winn is a native of Virginia and entered the Navy in September 1991. He attended recruit and apprentice training in Great Lakes, IL.
His first duty assignment was to ELECTRONIC ATTACK SQUADRON–ONE THREE ONE Whidbey Island, WA, completing a WESTPAC deployment onboard the USS RANGER (CV-61). He then continued his training in Millington, TN attending Aviation Structural Mechanic (Safety Equipment)(AME) “A” school.
His follow on tours include STRIKE FIGHTER SQUADRON–ONE FOUR SIX Lemoore, CA; STRIKE FIGHTER SQUADRON–ONE TWO FIVE Lemoore, CA; STRIKE FIGHTER SQUADRON-TWO SEVEN Atsugi, Japan, completing three deployments onboard the USS KITTYHAWK (CV-63); Recruit Division Commander(RDC) Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, IL; STRIKE FIGHTER SQUADRON-ONE ZERO TWO Atsugi, Japan completing two deployments onboard the USS KITTYHAWK (CV-63); the United States Naval Academy Annapolis, MD as a Company Senior Enlisted Leader and STRIKE FIGHTER SQUADRON-THREE SEVEN Oceana, VA, deployed onboard USS HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN-75) in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM.
He has earned an Associate’s Degree in General Studies from Columbia College of Missouri and is a graduate of United States Navy Senior Enlisted Academy, Class 161 and Command Leadership School, Class 14050.
His decorations include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), Navy Good Conduct Medal (seven awards) and various unit and campaign awards.
