EVERETT, Wash. (June 12, 2014) Sailors assigned to the guided-missile frigate USS Rodney M. Davis (FFG 60) man the rails as the ship departs Naval Station Everett for a six-month deployment to the Western Pacific Ocean. While deployed, the ship will participate in the Rim of the Pacific (RIMPAC) 2014 exercise. RIMPAC is the world’s largest international maritime exercise, and serves as a unique training opportunity while strengthening international relationships at the same time.
