121023-N-VA590-100 REAM, Cambodia (Oct. 23, 2012) - Electronics Technician 2nd Class Kyle Retzlaff, assigned to the guided-missile frigate USS Vandegrift (FFG 48), is taken down by children at the Ream Primary School during the Community Service event. USS Vandegrift is participating in Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Cambodia 2012. CARAT is a series of bilateral military exercises between the U.S. Navy and the armed forces of Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Timor Leste.
