CMDCM(SW) Jonathan Crisafulli
Command Master Chief (March 2010 - March 2013)

Master Chief Crisafulli, a native of Somerville, Massachusetts, enlisted in the United States Navy in April 1994. Following completion of basic training at Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois he reported to Naval Technical Training Center, Corry Station, Pensacola, Florida where he completed Cryptologic Technician Technical “A” school.

Upon graduation, he reported for duty to Naval Security Group Detachment Denver, Colorado as a CLASSIC WIZARD operator. His fleet assignments include COMMANDER SIXTH FLEET staff onboard USS LASALLE (AGF 3), Gaeta, Italy; USS HUE CITY (CG 66), Mayport, Florida, and USS PORT ROYAL (CG 73), Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. In addition, Master Chief Crisafulli completed shore assignments at Naval Security Group Activity, Rota, Spain; Naval Technical Training Center, Corry Station, Pensacola, Florida; National Reconnaissance Office, Chantilly, Virginia; and Navy Information Operations Command, San Diego, California. 

Master Chief Crisafulli was selected to the Command Senior Chief Program in February 2009 and assumed duties as USS RENTZ (FFG 46) Command Senior Chief in March 2010. He is a graduate of the Navy Senior Enlisted Academy Class 148 (Khaki Group) and the Command Master Chief/Chief of Boat Capstone Course Class 71 and has earned his Enlisted Surface Warfare and Master Training Specialist designations.

His decorations include the Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4 awards), and various unit and campaign awards.
