|LCDR Lisa B. Hodgson
LCDR Lisa B. Hodgson is from Tucson, AZ. She received a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture with a major in Biochemistry from the University of Arizona in June 1995.
LCDR Hodgson received her commission through Officer Candidate School in February 1999. She was assigned as Damage Control Assistant onboard USS LA MOURE COUNTY (LST 1194) in Little Creek, VA deploying in support of UNITAS 99. After decommissioning USS LA MOURE COUNTY she was temporarily assigned to USS TORTUGA (LSD 46) to complete her first division officer tour and Surface Warfare Officer qualification. She deployed to the Caribbean Sea supporting Standing Naval Forces Atlantic 2000. She was then assigned to USS ELLIOT (DD 967) as the Training Officer and surged deployed in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM (OIF) in October of 2001. Upon leaving USS ELLIOT she reported to Assault Craft Unit ONE as the LCM Department Head. She was deployed under the Naval Support Element for Maritime Pre-positioning Force operations in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM II and Indonesian Tsunami relief Operation UNIFIED ASSISTANCE. Upon graduating from Surface Warfare Officer School Department Head Class 186 she reported to USS THACH (FFG 43) as the Combat Systems Officer and deployed in support of Counter Narco-Terrorism Operations in the SOUTHCOM AOR. Upon transferring from USS THACH she reported to COMPHIBRON FIVE embarked on USS BOXER (LHD 4) as the N3/Operations Officer and deployed to the CENTCOM AOR is support of OIF/OEF. Shore duty assignments include COMNAVSURFPAC N40, Deputy Assistant Chief of Staff for Readiness and Assessment/Surface Warfare Enterprise and COMTHIRDFLT, Assistant Joint Training Officer and Assistant Amphibious Training Officer.
LCDR Hodgson has been awarded the Navy Commendation Medal (5 awards) and the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (5 awards).
