Lieutenant Commander Ronnie P. Mangsat
Executive Officer

LCDR Ronnie Mangsat hails from Baguio City, Philippines.  He graduated from University of California, San Diego in 1997 where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Bio-Engineering.  He received his commission from NROTC San Diego in June 1997.  He then reported to Surface Warfare Officer School in Newport, Rhode Island for Division Officer Course.

LCDR Mangsat’s sea duty assignments include First Lieutenant in USS ANTIETAM (CG 54), Main Propulsion Division Officer in USS JOHN C. STENNIS (CVN 74), Combat Systems Officer in USS GARY (FFG 51) forward deployed in Seventh Fleet, and N3 in Amphibious Squadron Eleven also forward deployed in Seventh Fleet.  He completed two Arabian Gulf deployments in support of Operation Southern Watch and Operation Enduring Freedom. 

Ashore, LCDR Mangsat completed Nuclear Power School and Nuclear Power Training.  Also, he served as Officer Programs Recruiter in Navy Recruiting District Los Angeles and as Plans and Exercises Officer for Commander, Task Force 76 in Okinawa, Japan.
