|LCDR Daryl Robbin
Lieutenant Commander Robbin is a native of Temple Hills, MD. He enlisted in the Navy as a Cryptologic Technician (Maintenance) in 1988 and was subsequently selected for the Enlisted Commissioning Program. He graduated from the University of Maryland and was commissioned through Naval ROTC in May 1998.
At sea, his initial tour was as the Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer aboard USS PHILIPPINE SEA (CG 58). Following his tour on PHILIPPINE SEA, LCDR Robbin served as Main Propulsion Assistant aboard USS SIMPSON (FFG 56). As a Department Head, he served as Chief Engineer aboard USS ROBERT G BRADLEY (FFG 49) and then as Staff Material Officer (N4) for Amphibious Squadron FIVE.
LCDR Robbin’s enlisted shore tours include NSGD Keflavik, Iceland and NSGA Edzell, Scotland. He also served as a Navy Recruiter at Navy Recruiting Station, Hyattsville, MD. As an officer, he served at Afloat Training Group, Mayport as a Training Liaison Officer and Anti-Submarine Warfare Department Head. Next he served on Commander, U.S. THIRD Fleet staff as Deputy Program Director for Requirements. He earned a M.B.A from University of Phoenix in 2005 and a M.A. in National Security and Strategic studies from The Naval War College in 2010.
LCDR Robbin reported as the Executive Officer aboard USS MCCLUSKY (FFG 41) in May 2012.
Personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal (5), Navy Achievement Medal (4), and various unit awards and service ribbons.
