SUBIC BAY, Philippines -  A Filipino father and son watch the guided-missile frigate USS Crommelin (FFG 37) get underway after participating in Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Philippines. CARAT is a series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships and enhance force readiness.
