CDR Frank Walter
Executive Officer

A native of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, CDR Walter graduated from Penn State University in 1998 with a BS in Secondary Education and received his commission through the Naval ROTC.

CDR Walter completed sea tours as First Lieutenant aboard USS STETHEM (DDG 63), as Reactor Electrical Division Officer in USS NIMITZ (CVN 68), as Operations Officer in USS McCLUSKY (FFG 41), and as Reactor Electrical Assistant during a second tour in NIMITZ.

While stationed at the University of Colorado NROTC following his division officer tours, CDR Walter completed a Master’s degree in Engineering Management through Old Dominion University and studied Russian language for four semesters. After his department head tours he served as the Executive Officer of the Force Nuclear Propulsion Mobile Training Team at Commander Naval Air Forces, Pacific (N9) and as the Director of Training (N7) at Afloat Training Group Pacific.

CDR Walter’s awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, and multiple unit and campaign medals.
