CDR Todd Penrod
Executive Officer

CDR Todd Penrod is a native of St. Petersburg, Florida. His enlisted assignments include: Naval Air Station, Jacksonville, Florida; USS Aubrey Fitch (FFG 34); USS Orion (AS 18); Fleet Activities Yokosuka, Japan; Recruit Training Command, Great Lakes, Illinois; and USS John F. Kennedy (CV 67). He received his commission via the Chief Warrant Officer / Limited Duty Officer program.

At sea, he served in the wardrooms of USS Preble (DDG 88), USS Bunker Hill (CG 52) and USS Gridley (DDG 101). In the Forward Deployed Naval Forces, Japan, he served as Executive Officer and Commanding Officer of USS Avenger (MCM 1) and commanded USS Pioneer (MCM 9).

He most recently served as the U.S. Sixth Fleet Command Center Director within the Operations Directorate and executed counter-terrorism missions for U.S. Central Command and U.S. Africa Command.

CDR Penrod is a graduate of Southern Illinois University-Carbondale and the U.S. Naval War College.
