USS SHOUP proudly displays her 247 ft long Homeward Bound pennant upon arrival Everett, WA rom a 310 day deployment to 5th Fleet. The Homeward Bound pennant is authorized to be flown by ships that have completed 270 days or more of deployed operations and each foot of the pennant represents the number of Sailors that completed at least 9 months of the deployment.
