CDR Adam J. Walker
Executive Officer

CDR Walker is from Dallas, and a 2001 graduate of the Pennsylvania State University. A Surface Warfare Officer, CDR Walker has deployed across the globe in destroyers, patrol craft, and a destroyer squadron staff. He served most recently afloat as Combat Systems Officer for Destroyer Squadron Thirty One, and as Operations Officer aboard USS CHAFEE (DDG 90). Earlier service includes tours as Weapons Officer / Executive Officer in Patrol Coastal Crew CHARLIE / USS CHINOOK (PC 9), and as Ordnance / Force Protection Officer aboard USS LABOON (DDG 58).

Ashore, CDR Walker served as an operational planner in future operations on the staff of Commander Naval Forces Europe-Naval Forces Africa-Sixth Fleet. He also served in Striking and Support Forces NATO in Naples, Italy, during which he served as chief intelligence analyst for Regional Command – East in the ISAF Joint Intelligence Center.

CDR Walker graduated from the U.S. Naval War College with highest distinction and from the Maritime Advanced Warfare School. He has a Master of Arts in National Security and Strategic Studies, a Master of Fine Arts in Human Relations, and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations.

His decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Services Commendation Medal, the Navy and Marine Corp Commendation Medal and other personal service, unit and campaign awards.
