MIDSHIPMAN TRAINING ONBOARD USS HIGGINS 
 
ARABIAN GULF (May 20, 2011) Summer has arrived along with training opportunities across the country.  On May 17, 2011, Midshipman 2/C Sean Lawlor arrived in Bahrain to head to USS Higgins (DDG 76) for his Midshipman Summer Cruise.  Midshipman Lawler was born and spent the majority of his life in San Diego, CA while his father was in the Navy as a Sonar Technician.  He is a Biology/Chemistry Major at the University of Southern California.  Midshipman Lawler is shown watching a Replenishment at Sea from a bridge wing onboard USS Higgins.  (U.S. Navy photo by Executive Officer LCDR Alex Taroc Mabini / RELEASED)
