Master Chief Cuddeback enlisted in the Navy in January 1989 and attended Recruit Training Command, Orlando, Florida. Following completion of recruit training he attended Basic Electricity and Electronics school in Orlando Florida. He then reported to Great Lakes Illinois and completed ET “A” school. After “A” school, he reported to Norfolk Virginia and completed several follow-on “C” schools.
His duty assignments include USS LaSalle (AGF-3), Bahrain; USS Monterey (CG-61), Mayport Florida; Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station (NCTS) Jacksonville, Jacksonville Florida; Naval Computer and Telecommunications Station (NCTS) Sicily, Sicily Italy; USS McInerney (FFG-8), Mayport Florida; Naval Air Station Joint Reserve Base NAS JRB Willow Grove, Willow Grove Pennsylvania; USS O’Kane (DDG-77); Joint Base (MDL) McGuire DIX Lakehurst, Lakehurst New Jersey; United States Army Sergeants Major Academy, Fort Bliss, El Paso Texas.
His education includes an Associate in Arts Degree from Florida State Community College, 1997; Bachelor of Science in Management Degree from the University of Phoenix, 2005; Master’s Degree in Leadership Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP), 2011.
Master Chief Cuddeback was selected to the Command Senior Chief Program in 2010 and is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major Academy (Class 61) and CMC/COB Leadership School (Class 91). He has qualified as an Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist. His personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (three awards), and numerous campaign medals and ribbons.
