Command Master Chief
A native of Amarillo, Texas, Command Master Chief Baldwin enlisted in the Navy in October 1989 where he completed Basic training in Orlando, Florida. He graduated from Electronics Technician Class ‘A’ School in 1990 and attended Electronics Technician Class ‘C’ School, RADAR Air Traffic Control Facility (RATCF) prior to his first permanent duty assignment.
Master Chief Baldwin's sea duty assignments include USS FITZGERALD (DDG 62), USS MCFAUL (DDG 74), USS BOXER (LHD 4), and USS ANTIETAM (CG 54).
Master Chief Baldwin's shore assignments include Naval Air Station Lemoore, Naval Postgraduate School, Afloat Training Group Pacific, and Naval Computer & Telecommunication Station, Far East. He was selected to the Command Master Chief program in 2014 and is currently serving as Command Master Chief of USS FITZGERALD (DDG 62) in Yokosuka, Japan.
Master Chief Baldwin's personal awards include the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4 awards), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (6 awards), as well as other unit and campaign awards.
Master Chief Baldwin holds a Bachelors of Science in Information Systems from Grantham University.
