PHILIPPINE SEA - Lt. j.g. Cory Massey, assigned to the forward deployed Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Fitzgerald (DDG 62), talks about the ship's automatic radar plotting aid (ARPA) with Russian Federation navy sailors while Fire Controlman 3rd Class Aleksey Yatskovskiy translates. The Russians were aboard Fitzgerald during Pacific Eagle, a bilateral exercise with the Russian Federation navy. Fitzgerald is one of seven destroyers assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15 and is on patrol in the western Pacific region.
