CDR Ryan Rogers
Executive Officer

A native of Sherrills Ford, NC, Commander Rogers is a 2001 graduate from North Carolina State University and received his commission through the NROTC program. Additionally, he holds a Masters of Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.

At sea, Commander Rogers' assignments include Main Propulsion Assistant on board USS REUBEN JAMES (FFG 57); Navigator on board USS THOMAS S. GATES (CG 51); and Chief Engineer and Combat Systems Officer on board USS MASON (DDG 87).

Ashore, he has served as a Gas Turbine Training Team Leader at Afloat Training Group Pacific; Flag Secretary to Rear Admiral (LH) Gerard Hueber and Rear Admiral (LH) Fernandez Ponds at Expeditionary Strike Group THREE; and Deputy Chairman of Seamanship and Navigation at the United States Naval Academy.

Commander Rogers is authorized to wear the Navy Commendation Medal, Joint Service Achievement Medal, Navy Achievement Medal, and Craftmaster badge.
