EAST CHINA SEA (Dec. 6, 2014) Lt. Benjamin Pearlswig and Ens. Kathleen McDowell, conning officers aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS John S. McCain (DDG 56) communicate with the Military Sealift Command dry cargo and ammunition ship USNS Washington Chambers (T-AKE 11) during a replenishment-at-sea. McCain is conducting presence operations in the East China Sea supporting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation.
