CDR Dawn Allen
Executive Officer

CDR Dawn Allen enlisted in the Navy in 1991 where she performed duties as an Aviation Ordnanceman and Helicopter Rescue swimmer. In 2001, she was commissioned via the Enlisted Commissioning Program from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Mathematics. A Surface Warfare Officer with a Nuclear Power specialty, her Division Officer tours included Strike Officer on USS PAUL HAMILTON (DDG 60) and Reactor Electrical Division Officer on USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT (CVN 71); where she completed a M.S. in Engineering Management from Old Dominion University. Her Department Head tours included Operations Officer on USS RUSSELL (DDG 59) and Chemical and Radiological Assistant on USS JOHN C STENNIS (CVN 74).

Ashore, CDR Allen taught at the University of Washington NROTC and served as Executive Officer of the PACFLT Nuclear Propulsion Examination Board performing inspections of aircraft carriers and submarines. She was most recently assigned as the Ballistic Missile Defense Education and Operations Support Deputy Branch Chief, United States Northern Command, Peterson AFB, CO.
