USS STOCKDALE participated in a joint training exercise with one of Singapore’s newly acquired S-70B Naval Hawk helicopters. 
On June 25th and 26th, 2010, USS STOCKDALE participated in a joint training exercise with one of Singapore’s newly acquired S-70B Naval Hawk helicopters in order to increase the pilots’ proficiency in taking off and landing from a naval vessel at sea. With the training provided by U.S. Navy helicopter pilots and assistance from the crew of USS STOCKDALE, the Singaporean pilots gained experience which will allow them to successfully operate the aircraft at sea. STOCKDALE Sailors experienced their first opportunity to work with Coalition forces, providing invaluable insight into future operations. The experience and training gained by both STOCKDALE and the Singaporeans will undoubtedly help to further solidify the culture of cooperation between our two militaries.
