CDR Sean T. Grunwell
Executive Officer
Originally from Frederick, Maryland, Commander Grunwell graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1997 with a degree in Ocean Engineering. He also holds a Master of Science Degree in Strategic Intelligence from the National Defense Intelligence College and a Master of Arts Degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College.

Commander Grunwell has served at sea as Auxiliaries and Electrical Officer and Combat Information Center Officer in USS PAUL HAMILTON (DDG 60), Chief Engineer in USS RUSSELL (DDG 59), and Chief Engineer in USS PORT ROYAL (CG 72).

Commander Grunwell has served ashore as Surface Junior Officer Detailer (PERS-412) at Navy Personnel Command in Millington, TN; as an N5 Action Officer and N8 Deputy Executive Assistant at OPNAV in Washington, DC; and as N74 Engineering Instructor at the Surface Warfare Officers School Command in Newport, RI.
