Acting Senior Enlisted Leader
Raised in Bakersfield, California, Senior Chief Petty Officer Willdigg entered the Navy in 1997. She assumed duties as Senior Enlisted Leader in USS DEWEY (DDG 105) on 21 August 2014.
As a Chief Petty Officer, her operational assignments include duties as Information Warfare Department Leading Chief Petty Officer at Center for Information Dominance Learning Site San Diego, and Electronic Warfare Leading Chief Petty Officer in USS SAMPSON (DDG 102), where she was a plankowner. She served as Operations Technical Leading Petty Officer PCD MAKIN ISLAND (LHD 8); during that tour, she volunteered for an IA and served as Field Site Lead and Electronic Warfare Officer for Joint Crew Composite Squadron 1 (JCCS-1) in Qayarrah West, Iraq. Before reporting to PCD MAKIN ISLAND, she served as as Schools Management Coordinator at Center for Information Dominance Corry Station Pensacola FL. As a junior Petty Officer, she was as a Direct Support Supervisor at Naval Security Group Activity Norfolk, serving as the National Operational Intelligence Supervisor in USS MOUNT WHITNEY (LCC 20), in CCSG 2 staff aboard USS HARRY S. TRUMAN (CVN 75), in CCSG 4 staff aboard USS NASSAU (LHA 4), in USS GEORGE WASHINGTON (CVN 73), and in USS JOHN F. KENNEDY (CV 67). Her first operational tour was with Network Operator Naval Security Group Detachment, Diego Garcia.
Military decorations include the Bronze Star, Navy Commendation Medal, Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (5th award), Army Achievement Medal, Meritorious Unit Commendation Medal, Navy Unit Commendation Medal, Army Meritorious Unit Citation, and Operation Iraqi Freedom Campaign Medal.
