Sailors assisted in the beautification of the grounds by cleaning and landscaping. The sailors then took time to play rugby and soccer with the children. CTT1(SW/AW) James Mitchell, Sailor onboard USS SAMPSON participated in the COMREL. After the event he stated, “It was an honor to be given the chance to influence the lives of nearly 20 children, ranging in age from 4-14. I was humbled by the experience and learned to appreciate some of the luxuries we have in our lives that others never get.”
