BAY OF BENGAL -  Logistics Specialist 3rd Class Steve Akpaka, assigned to the guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG-100), shows Bangladesh navy Lt. Cmdr. Harif different positions of a Vari-Nozzle during a crash and salvage drill as part of Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT) Bangladesh 2011. CARAT is a series of bilateral exercises held annually in Southeast Asia to strengthen relationships and enhance force readiness. Bangladesh is participating in this exercise for the first time.
