PACIFIC OCEAN (Nov. 18, 2009) Sonar Technician 2nd Class Richard Schnitz, from Filmore, Calif., stands watch in the sonar control room aboard the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100). Kidd is participating in a strike group sustainment exercise off the coast of Southern California with the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group.
