CDR James M "Mike" Williams
Commanding Officer

CDR Williams, a native of Memphis, TN, enlisted in the Navy in 1991, was selected for the Enlisted Commissioning Program in 1997, and graduated from the University of Memphis in 1999. In 2005, he earned a Master of Business Administration at the Naval Postgraduate School.

CDR Williams’ at sea assignments include First Lieutenant and Navigator in USS Bunker Hill (CG 52), Operations Officer in USS John L Hall (FFG 32) and Operations Officer in Destroyer Squadron 15.

Ashore, he has served as the Fleet Scheduler for Canadian Maritime Forces Pacific, Resources and Requirements Division Chief for Special Operations Command Europe, and ASW Training and Exercise staff at the Naval Mine and Anti-Submarine Warfare Command Detachment Norfolk.
