LSCS Marion D. Ramos
Senior Enlisted Leader
Senior Chief Marion D. Ramos was born and raised in Albay, Philippines. In 1999 she migrated to the United States to be with her family. She enlisted in the United States Navy in July 2000 and completed Basic Recruit Training at RTC Great Lakes. After basic training she attended SK “A” School in NAS Meridian and graduated on top of her class.
In November 2000, she reported to her first duty station onboard USS BELLEAU WOOD (LHA-3) in San Diego, CA and advanced to SK3 and SK2 in 2002. After a brief stint at Trial Service Office West, she reported onboard USS PELELIU (LHA-5) in 2003 where she completed her first deployment and advanced to SK1 in 2005. In 2006, she transferred to COMNAVAIRFOR in NAS North Island where she served as SMI Afloat LPO and Aviation Outfitting LPO. In May 2009, she reported to USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76), advanced to SKC, and completed two deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Operation Iraqi Freedom, and Operation Tomodachi. In March 2012, she reported to Space and Naval Warfare Systems (SPAWAR) Pacific as NTCSS/R-Supply Systems Analyst. In 2015, she was advanced to Senior Chief Petty Officer. She is currently assigned to Amphibious Squadron FIVE embarked onboard USS MAKIN ISLAND (LHD-8).
Senior Chief Ramos graduated with honors (Cum Laude) and earned her Bachelor of Arts in Management from National University.
Senior Chief Ramos has been awarded the Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (2nd), Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (4th), and various campaign and service medals.
