Prior to your arrival, you will be assigned a command sponsor who will be available to answer any questions you may have and/ or to assist you in any way possible. Please advise your sponsor of your expected arrival date and any assistance you may require. Below is some information to help you when you arrive here in San Diego, CA.

When arriving in San Diego, report in the uniform of the day to the USS PELELIU (LHA 5), unless otherwise directed.

DRIVING DIRECTION: I-5, I-8, I-15, I-805, US Highways: 54, 94 or 163 merge onto I-5 South:

-Take the 28th St/ Natl Ave exit,exit 28th ST. At the 3rd stop light make a left onto Harbor Drive. Make a right at the 4th stop light, which will lead you into gate 9. Once on base follow the blue signs posted to the piers.
