Master Chief Servian resides from Gomez Palacio Durango, Mexico. He joined the United States Navy in June 1985, and attended initial training at Recruit Training Center, San Diego, California. After graduation from recruit training, he reported to Naval Training Center, Great Lakes Illinois for assignment to Boiler Technician “A” School. Upon completion of school, he reported in February 1986 to his first sea tour USS COCHRANE (DDG 21) home ported in Yokosuka, Japan. Master Chief Separated from the United States Navy in April 1988, however, he returned to active Naval service in January of 1989.
Upon returning to service, he was assigned to USS LYNDE MCCORMACK (DDG 8) San Diego, CA from February 1989 until September 1991. His other at sea and shore duty assignments include, USS CLEVELAND (LPD 7) from October 1991 to April 1994, Security at Naval Station San Diego, CA from June 1994 to June 1997, USS BONHOMME RICHARD (LHD 6) from July 1997 to October 2001, Security Naval Station Annapolis, Annapolis, MD, from November 2001 to July 2004, USS CLEVELAND (LPD 7) from August 2004 to June 2007, South Central Regional Maintenance Center, Ingleside TX from July 2007 to February 2009, Southwest Regional Maintenance Center, San Diego, CA from February 2009 to April 2010. He reported to Amphibious Squadron THREE in May 2010.
As of November 2010, Master Chief Servian has the honor of serving as the Senior Enlisted Advisor of Amphibious Squadron THREE San Diego, California.
Master Chief Servian’s personal awards include the Navy Commendation Medal (Five awards), the Navy Achievement Medal (Five awards) and various campaign, expeditionary and unit awards.
