Senior Enlisted Advisor

Master Chief Petty Officer Scott A. Maretich is a native of Altoona, Pennsylvania.  He enlisted in the United States navy on February 25, 1991, reporting to Recruit Training Command Great Lakes, Illinois.  Upon completion of recruit training he attended Boiler Technician “A” School and Advanced Boiler Technician “6 YO’ School and advanced to Boiler Technician Third Class Petty Officer.
MMCM Maretich at sea in USS CONSTELLATION (CV 64) 1992 to 1994 and 1999 to 2003, USS BELLEAU WOOD (LHA 3) 1994 to 1996,  and USS PELELIU (LHA 5) 2006 to 2010.
Assignments ashore included: Training Support Center San Diego, California 1996 to 1999, Ships Intermediate Maintenance Activity/South West Regional Maintenance Facility, San Diego California 2003 to 2006, and Center for Navel Engineering/ Surface Warfare Officer School Engineering Learning Site San Diego, California 2010 to 2013. 
In April 2013, he reported to Commander Amphibious Squadron 11 Sasebo, Japan assigned to N4 where he will assist in providing logistics readiness support for the 7th Fleet Amphibious Readiness Group. In November 2013 then Senior Chief Petty Officer Maretich was assigned as the Senior Enlisted Leader for Commander Amphibious Squadron 11.
Master Chief Maretich’ personal awards include:  Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (4 gold stars) and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (3 gold stars).
