CMDCM(SW) Roebuck 
Command Master Chief

Master Chief Roebuck is native of Port Hueneme, CA. She joined the Navy on 21 May 1985 and attended Recruit Training at RTC Orlando, FL. Upon completion of RTC, Master Chief Roebuck attended CTR “A” School and High Frequency Direction Finding (HFDF) “C” School.

Her initial assignment after training was to Naval Security Group Activity Adak, AK. Following Basic Analysis and Reporting “C” School she was then assigned to Naval Security Group Activity Kunia, HI. Master Chief Roebuck was sent on to Journeyman “Analysis and Reporting” “C” School which was followed by a tour at Naval Security Group Activity Hanza, Okinawa, Japan. While in Okinawa she was afforded the opportunity to participate in the “Women At Sea” Program to aid in the integration of female Sailors onto combatant vessels onboard various warships. She went on to NTTCD Goodfellow, San Angelo, TX for instructor duty where she earned her Master Training Specialist designation. Master Chief Roebuck was then assigned to USS KINKAID (DD 965) where she earned her Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist designation. Follow-on assignment took her to Naval Recruiting District San Antonio, TX. During her recruiting tour, she was promoted to Master Chief and selected for the Command Master Chief program and was assigned as the Assistant Officer in Charge/Senior Enlisted Leader for Naval Security Group Support Detachment Chesapeake, Chesapeake, VA. Master Chief Roebuck was then assigned to USS CHAFEE (DDG 90) as the Command Master Chief where during her tenure the ship was awarded the Battle “E” and the Spokane Trophy. Upon a very successful tour, she was selected as the NAVCENT Forward Kuwait where she served as the Kuwait country Command Master Chief for US Naval Forces Central Command. Her follow on tour was to Naval Health Clinic Hawaii as the Command Master Chief.

Master Chief Roebuck is currently serving as the Group Master Chief for Naval Surface Forces, Middle Pacific.

Master Chief Roebuck’s personal awards include the following: Meritorious Service Medal, Navy Commendation Medal (five awards), Navy Achievement Medal (three awards), Good Conduct Medal (eight awards), National Defense Medal (two awards), Armed Forces Expeditionary Service, Global War on Terrorism Service and Expeditionary Medals, Korea Defense Service Medal, Rifle and Pistol Sharpshooter, Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal and various unit awards.
