Commander Rossetti is a 1993 graduate of the University of Colorado, Boulder, and was commissioned through the Naval Reserve Officer Training Command.
Commander Rossetti’s initial sea tours include USS Anzio (CG 68), and USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN 71), completing two deployments to the Mediterranean Sea and Arabian Gulf.
He earned a Master of Science Degree in Computer Science from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California in 2000. After postgraduate school, he completed his department head tours as Operations Officer aboard USS Oldendorf (DD 972) and Combat Systems Officer aboard USS Paul Hamilton (DDG 60).
He also served as the Surface Operations Officer for Expeditionary Strike Group ONE and Executive Officer of Beach Master Unit ONE, USS Princeton (CG 59), and the AEGIS Training and Readiness Center.
Personal awards include the Meritorious Service Medal (four awards), Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal (three awards) and Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal (two awards) and various unit, campaign, and service awards.
