CDR Ashley M. Harris
Executive Officer (January 2012 - October 2013)

A native of Oklahoma, CDR Harris graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1997. He has served in various Navy positions both in the United States and overseas in both the Atlantic and Pacific Fleets.
As a junior Officer, he served as Undersea Warfare Office in USS ELLIOT (DD-967) and as Chief Engineer in USS CORMORANT (MHC-57). As Department Head, he served as Combat Systems Office in USS RENTZ (FFG-46). His last at sea tour was as Executive Officer for MCM Rotational Crew DOMINANT in USS CHAMPION (MCM-4) and USS SCOUT (MCM-8) in the Fifth Fleet area of operations.
Ashore, CDR Harris served as Director of Training (N01T) for Fleet ASW Training Center under the Center for Surface Combat Systems (CSCS) where he was responsible for the daily management of 72 Courses of Instruction and 220 instructors as well as future training requirement development.
CDR Harris graduated from the Naval Post Graduate School in Monterey, CA, with a Master of Science degree in Applied Physics in the ASW core curriculum.
