USS Chosin
War Dragon
USS Chosin
Welcome aboard the finest Warship in the NAVY!

Onboard CHOSIN, we are preparing for your arrival. Upon receipt of your orders, a sponsor from your new division will be assigned. That sponsor will attempt to contact you to inform you of the ship's schedule and what to expect at your new command. Sometimes, because you are in the middle of a move, attending a school, or out of the country, your sponsor may be unable to contact you.

We request that you contact the CHOSIN Quarterdeck at (808) 471-5197 to inform us of your whereabouts and plans. The day you report onboard, you will be expected to be in the Uniform of the Day. A quick call to the Quarterdeck at the above number will get you the Petty Officer-of-the-Watch who will inform you of our location and uniform requirements. Once onboard, the Ship’s Office will process your paperwork as you walk around with your sponsor completing your check-in. The Chief Master-at-Arms will assign you a bunk and provide you with bed linens.

Should CHOSIN be at sea on your report date, you are required to report to Transient Personnel Unit (TPU) Pearl Harbor located on the Naval Station.

You are required to report to USS CHOSIN within 24 hours of arrival on the island. The effective date to start your entitlements (i.e. Temporary Lodging Allowance, Hawaii based BAH, and COLA) is based according to your report date to the ship.
