LCDR Jeremy J. Aujero
Executive Officer (February 2013 - January 2014)

Lieutenant Commander Jeremy J. Aujero grew up in a small town Jefferson, OR, graduating from Jefferson High School in 1993. He then attended and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Resource Economics from Oregon State University in June 1997.
His first tour was onboard the Norfolk-based ship USS PONCE (LPD-15) as the 2nd LT and Weapon’s Officer deploying to the Mediterranean taking part of the Kosovo Campaign to include OPERATION ALLIED FORCE and OPERATION NOBLE ANVIL. In January 2000, he reported as the Commissioning Fire-Control Officer in USS LASSEN (DDG 82). After his 2nd Division Officer tour he attended the Naval Postgraduate School, graduating in April 2004 with a M. A. degree in National Security Affairs. He was next assigned as the Operations Officer in USS STEPHEN W. GROVES (FFG 29). His successes onboard GROVES include the most successful INSURV score in CNSL, at that time, for FFG in operation, deck, and aviation. In May 2006 he reported to COMDESRON 23 as the N3 and successfully completed a WESTPAC deployment to include supporting the Global War on Terror in Operations Iraqi/Enduring Freedom in the Persian Gulf and Arabian Sea. LCDR Aujero’s post DH tours include SUW/STRIKE Officer for Carrier Strike Force Training Pacific participating in USS RONALD REAGAN (CVN 76) COMPTUEX before deploying to Iraq, on IA orders, as the Brigade EWO/staff officer for 9-monthes countering the Radio Controlled IED threat against U.S. forces in Baghdad, Iraq. His latest tour was on the COMNAVSURFPAC N7 staff as the BMD officer.
LCDR Aujero personal awards include the Bronze Star Medal, three Navy/Marine Corp Commendation Medals and two Navy/Marine Corp Achievement Medals.
