|CAPT Christopher Alexander
CAPT Chris Alexander is a native of Key West, Florida. He graduated from the United States Naval Academy in 1992 with a Bachelors Degree in Engineering.
CAPT Alexander is currently the Commanding Officer for USS PRINCETON (CG-59).
Afloat, CAPT Alexander served as Commanding Officer in USS SAMPSON (DDG 102); Executive Officer in USS HOPPER (DDG 70); Operations Officer for Commander, Destroyer Squadron TWO; Operations Officer in USS ARLEIGH BURKE (DDG 51); Navigator in USS REID (FFG 30); and as Damage Control Assistant in USS WABASH (AOR 5).
Ashore, CAPT Alexander served as Executive Assistant to Commander, Naval Surface Forces, U.S. Pacific Fleet; as a legislative fellow on the staff of Senator Edward Kennedy; on the Secretary of the Navy’s staff in the Office of Program Appraisal; on the Chief of Naval Operation’s staff as a manpower requirements officer, and on the Joint Staff as a Branch Chief in the Space and Missile Defense Division and the Strategic Operations Division.
CAPT Alexander has earned a Masters Degree in Operational Research from the Naval Postgraduate School.
